Geffen Records will release a new soundtrack album for Cameron Crowe’s 2000 drama Almost Famous starring Kate Hudson, Billy Crudup, Frances McDormand, Jason Lee, Patrick Fugit, Anna Paquin, Fairuza Balk, Noah Taylor and Philip Seymour Hoffman. The album features almost every song from the movie, including several previously unreleased tracks such as all the Stillwater songs written by Crowe, Nancy Wilson (Jerry Maguire, Vanilla Sky, Elizabethtown) and Peter Frampton. Also included is the first-ever release of Wilson’s original score from the movie. The soundtrack will be released as a 5-CD set (visit Amazon to order) and a digital super deluxe edition (click here to order) on July 9, 2021. Expanded ‘Say Anything…’ Soundtrack Album Announced
Mondo has announced a new soundtrack release for Cameron Crowe’s 1989 comedy drama Say Anything… starring John Cusack, Ione Skye, John Mahoney, Lili Taylor, Polly Platt and Bebe Neuwirth. The double LP features the content of the original soundtrack album (released by Columbia Records) on the first disc, as well as previously unreleased demos and material, including long lost demo recordings of the Joe Lies songs as performed by Nancy Wilson for actress Lili Taylor, on the second disc.
