Earlier this week, La-La Land Records has released an expanded soundtrack album of Jerry Goldsmith’s score for First Knight. The album comes in a 2 disc-set featuring the film’s score, the original 1995 album version and 7 alternate tracks not used in the film. The music has been expanded over the original soundtrack album by more than an hour. Limited to 5000 copies, the 2 CD presentation is now available to order on La-La Land Records’ website, where the album also can be previewed with several audio clips. First Knight is directed by Jerry Zucker and stars Sean Connery, Richard Gere and Julia Ormond.

New release of Jerry Goldsmith’s score for ‘Link’ announced
Intrada Records has announced a new limited edition release of Jerry Goldsmith’s score for the 1986 horror thriller Link directed by Richard Franklin and Terence Stamp, Elisabeth Shue and Steven Pinner. The album is a repressing from the original soundtrack that was released in 1986 and has been out of print for years. The soundtrack is limited to 2000 copies. New ‘First Blood’ soundtrack release announced
Intrada Records announced a new 2 disc soundtrack release of Jerry Goldsmith’s score for the 1982 action movie First Blood. In the movie directed by Ted Kotcheff and starring Sylvester Stallone, a mentally unstable Vietnam war vet, when abused with a small town’s police force, begins a one man war with it. The album is the first release of the complete score and also includes the original 1982 soundtrack on a second disc. The Goonies score album announced
Varese Sarabande announced their latest CD club releases this morning. The latest batch includes four new albums, which can all be ordered on the Varese webpage.
One of the most requested titles in soundtrack history finally receives a CD release. To coincide with the 25th anniversary of the movie, Dave Grusin’s score for The Goonies directed by Richard Donner and produced by Steven Spielberg is limited to 5000 copies.
