Intrada Records announced a new 2 disc soundtrack release of Jerry Goldsmith’s score for the 1982 action movie First Blood. In the movie directed by Ted Kotcheff and starring Sylvester Stallone, a mentally unstable Vietnam war vet, when abused with a small town’s police force, begins a one man war with it. The album is the first release of the complete score and also includes the original 1982 soundtrack on a second disc. Intrada also announced a new limited edition of Terry Plumeri’s score for the 1997 action film Black Sea Raid (known on DVD as Special Forces). The orchestral score was recorded with the Russian State Symphony Orchestra. As a bonus, the album also features the second movvement from Plumeri’s concert piece Dusk.
