Varese Sarabande has announced the latest titles in its CD club series. The releases include an expanded soundtrack for the 1990 sci-fi action horror sequel Predator 2 directed by Stephen Hopkins and starring Danny Glover, Kevin Peter Hall, Gary Busey, Ruben Blades, María Conchita Alonso and Bill Paxton. The 2-CD deluxe edition features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, The Avengers, Cast Away), including previously unreleased music. The composer previously composed the score for the first part in the series, which Varese Sarabande released for the first time in 2003. To check out the details of the album, which is limited to 3000 copies, visit the label’s official website, where you can also listen to audio clips. The soundtrack will also be available to order on Amazon.
