C7nema recently reported that Howard Shore is attached to reunite with his long term collaborator David Cronenberg to write the score for the upcoming drama Cosmopolis. The film based on the Don DeLillo tome is adapted for the screen by Cronenberg and follows a multimillionaire who risks his entire fortune to bet against the yen on a cataclysmic day. The movie stars Robert Pattinson, Juliette Binoche and Paul Giamatti. Cronenberg and Shore have previously collaborated numerous times, most recently on A History of Violence and Eastern Promises. Cosmopolis is currently in pre-production and is set to start shooting this May.
