Dragon’s Domain Records has announced a new soundtrack album featuring three scores composed by John Ottman (X2, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Superman Returns, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, The Usual Suspects, Fantastic Four). The album features the composer’s remastered and expanded score from the 1997 crime thriller Incognito directed by John Badham and starring Jason Patric & Irene Jacob, including previously unreleased music. Also included is the world premiere release of Ottman’s music from the 2004 short Lonely Place directed by Kevin Ackerman and starring Tess Harper, Kurtwood Smith &Tomas Arana, as well as his score from the 2002 television movie Brother’s Keeper directed by Badham and starring Jeanne Tripplehorn, Corin Nemec, Leland Orser & Evan Parke. Erick Schroder Scoring Todd Randall’s ‘Brother’s Keeper’
Erick Schroder (Astro, American Christmas, No Man’s Land) is currently scoring the upcoming sports drama Brother’s Keeper. The film is directed by Todd Randall and stars Milo Gibson, Laurence Fishburne and Glenn Morshower, as well as Bucky Covington who is also contributing original songs to the drama. The movie is based on the book of the same title by Al Pickett and Chad Mitchell and tells the true story of West Texas’ ’09 Abilene High School football team – underdogs who rally against the odds to form a family and win their state championship.
Marcelo Zarvos Scoring ‘Brother’s Keeper’
Marcelo Zarvos is composing the music for the upcoming indie comedy drama Brother’s Keeper. The film is directed by Academy Award-nominated producer Ross Katz (Lost in Translation, In the Bedroom) and stars Nick Kroll, Rose Byrne, Bobby Cannavale, Joel McHale, Josh Charles and Caitlin Fitzgerald. The movie follows a young, narcissistic entrepreneur who leaves Manhattan to move in with his estranged, pregnant sister and his brother-in-law and his 3-year-old nephew, only to end up becoming their nanny. Jeff Cox (Blades of Glory) and Liz Flahive (Nurse Jackie) have written the screenplay played based on a story by Kroll, Cox and Flahive. Kroll is also producing the project with Sam Slater & Paul Bernon (Drinking Buddies), Marcus Cox & Karrie Cox and Jared Goldman. Mark & Jay Duplass (Cyrus, Jeff Who Lives at Home) serve as executive producers.
