Premiering tonight is the PBS documentary series The American Revolution directed by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein & David Schmidt about the country’s founding struggle and its eight-year War for Independence. In a Circle Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the music from the show, including period and newly composed pieces for the project featuring performances by Jake Blount, Rhiannon Giddens, Brooklyn Rider, Hanneke Cassel, Nora Brown & Steph Coleman, Jennifer Kreisberg and Yo-Yo Ma, last week. Check out our soundtrack announcement for the full album details and to learn more about the 6-parter, which will air over six nights on PBS.

Premiering on Wednesday, November 19, is the Netflix original film Champagne Problems written and directed by Mark Steven Johnson and starring Minka Kelly, Tom Wozniczka, Thibault de Montalembert, Sean Amsing, Flula Borg, Xavier Samuel and Astrid Whettnall. Ryan Shore (Prime, Star Wars: Forces of Destiny, Love, Guaranteed, The Shrine, Bride Hard, Love in the Villa, Harvard Man) has composed the movie’s original music. ‘The Mighty Nein’ Opening Titles Theme Released

Lakeshore Records has released the opening titles theme from the new Prime Video original animated series The Mighty Nein. The track produced by the show’s composer Neal Acree (The Legend of Vox Machina, Stargate SG-1, World of Warcraft, Witchblade, StarCraft II, Diablo III, Overwatch) is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The Mighty Nein is based on the Critical Role campaign of the same title and stars Laura Bailey, Taliesin Jaffe, Ashley Johnson, Matthew Mercer, Liam O’Brien, Marisha Ray, Sam Riegel and Travis Willingham.

Soundtrack Album for Prime Video’s ‘Malice’ Released

Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for the British Prime Video original series Malice. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Alexis Grapsas (A Quiet Place: Day One, Pig, Monday, What We Hide, Trigonometry, Teacher, Big Shot). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first two tracks after the jump. Malice is created by James Wood and stars Jack Whitehall, David Duchovny, Carice van Houten, Christine Adams and Raza Jaffrey. The 6-part psychological thriller follows a mysterious young man who charms his way into the life of a wealthy family while they’re on holiday in Greece and orchestrates his way into their London home when their nanny falls dangerously ill.

Songs from ‘Hazbin Hotel’ Season 2, Episodes 5-6 Released

Atlantic Records has released the songs from the fifth and sixth episode of the second season of the Prime Video original animated series Hazbin Hotel. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music serves are Bad with Us, VOX POPULI, VOX DEI, Love in a Bottle, Losin’ Streak & Easy written and produced by Sam Haft & Andrew Underberg and performed by the show’s voice cast. Also listen to all six tracks below. The full soundtrack album will be released digitally next Wednesday, November 19, physically on November 21 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Hazbin Hotel is created by Vivienne Medrano and stars Erika Henningsen, Alex Brightman, Stephanie Beatriz, Christian Borle, Keith David, Kimiko Glenn, Blake Roman, Amir Talai, Jessica Vosk, Joel Perez and Lilli Cooper.

‘Tremembé’ Soundtrack Album Released

Amazon Content Services has released a soundtrack album for the Brazilian Prime Video limited series Tremembé. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Rica & Gui Amabis. Also included Chuck Hipólitho’s & Rodrigo Carneiro’s cover of Bob Dylan’s All Along the Watchtower. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and most other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the first score track and the song below. Available separately as a digital single is CéU’s song In Dreams from the drama. Tremembé is directed by Daniel Lieff & Vera Egito and stars Marina Ruy Barbosa, Rodrigo Simas and Bianca Comparato. The 5-parter delves into Brazil’s notorious Tremembé Penitentiary Complex, home to some of the country’s most infamous criminals.

‘Oh. What. Fun.’ Soundtrack Album Details

Sony Masterworks will release a soundtrack album for the holiday comedy Oh. What. Fun. The album features the songs from the movie, including Gwen Stefani’s original track Shake the Snow Globe (already out now as a digital single exclusively on Amazon Music), Sharon Van Etten’a cover of The Carpenters’ 2000 Miles (to be released tomorrow and embedded after the jump), as well as songs performed by The Bird and the Bee, St. Vincent, The Wang Family, Jeff Tweedy, Empress Of, Weyes Blood & others. The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 3 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Mutant will release a vinyl edition, which is available for pre-order here. Oh. What. Fun. is co-written and directed by Michael Showalter and stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Felicity Jones, Dominic Sessa, Chloë Grace Moretz, Joan Chen, Denis Leary, Danielle Brooks, Havana Rose Liu, Eva Longoria, Devery Jacobs, Maude Apatow and Jason Schwartzman.
