Fifth Season & Lakeshore Records have released a second soundtrack for the Apple TV+ limited series Lady in the Lake. The 5-track EP features the songs/live performances from the show produced by Grammy Award nominee Bekon and performed by lead actress Moses Ingram, Jennifer Mogbock, Toni Scruggs and Natalie Jacobs. Apple TV+’s ‘Lady in the Lake’ to Feature Music by Marcus Norris and Bekon
Marcus Norris (Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul.) has provided the original score for the upcoming Apple TV+ limited series Lady in the Lake. Grammy Award-nominated music producer Bekon (who scored last year’s Netflix film You People) has composed and produced the live performances of the show created by Alma Har’el (Honey Boy) and starring Natalie Portman, Moses Ingram, Y’lan Noel, Brett Gelman, Noah Jupe, Byron Bowers, Josiah Cross, Mikey Madison and Pruitt Taylor Vince. The 7-part thriller is based on the 2019 novel of the same title by Laura Lippman and follows two women whose lives converge on a fatal collision course after he disappearance of a young girl grips the city of Baltimore on Thanksgiving 1966.
‘Honey Boy’ Soundtrack Details
KRONK will release soundtrack album for the indie drama Honey Boy. The album features the film’s original music composed by Alex Somers (Captain Fantastic, Aloha, Manhattan, Dawson City: Frozen Time). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 8 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon Music. Honey Boy is directed by Alma Har’el and stars Shia LaBeouf (who also wrote the screenplay), Noah Jupe, Lucas Hedges and FKA twigs. The movie based on LaBeouf’s own experiences centers on a young actor’s stormy childhood and early adult years as he struggles to reconcile with his father and deal with his mental health.
Alex Somers Scoring Alma Har’el’s ‘Honey Boy’
Alex Somers (Captain Fantastic, Aloha, Manhattan) has been hired to score the upcoming drama Honey Boy. The film is directed by Alma Har’el (Bombay Beach) and stars Shia LaBeouf, Lucas Hedges, Noah Jupe and Maika Monroe. The movie revolves around a child TV star and his ex-rodeo clown father as they face their stormy past through time and cinema. LaBeouf also wrote the screenplay. Har’el is also producing the project with Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (Sinister, Midnight Special), Daniela Taplin Lundberg (The Kids Are All Right, Hello, My Name Is Doris), Anita Gou (Assassination Nation) and Christopher Leggett (Becoming Bond).
