La-La Land Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1993 coming-of-age drama What’s Eating Gilbert Grape directed by Lasse Hallström and starring Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, Juliette Lewis, Mary Steenburgen, Darlene Cates and John C. Reilly. The album features the film’s original score composed by Alan Parker (Jaws 3-D, American Gothic) and Björn Isfält (My Life as a Dog, Slingshot), as well as alternate cues. Also included is Isfält’s original unused score written for the movie.

‘Killing Season’ Soundtrack Announced
Intrada Records has announced a soundtrack album for Mark Steven Johnson’s 2013 thriller Killing Season. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3, Hellraiser, Entrapment, Shipping News, Drag Me to Hell) who previously scored the director’s Ghost Rider and When in Rome. The composer’s score is presented on the album as a classical work in four movements. The soundtrack is now available to order on Intrada’s official website, where you can also listen to audio clips and check out the full album details. Killing Season starring Robert De Niro and John Travolta follows two veterans of the Bosnian War, one American, one Serbian, who find themselves in an unlikely friendship until vengeful motives are exposed pitting them against each other.
