The show is created by Jack Thorne (Adolescence, Enola Holmes) and stars David Tennant, Robert Carlyle, Toby Jones, Rose Leslie, Dougray Scott, Adrian Lester, Eve Myles, Katherine Kelly, Kevin Doyle, Lara Pulver, Neil Maskell, Pip Torrens, Lee Ingleby and Steve Pemberton. The 7-part series tells the real life stories of investigative journalist Nick Davies who uncovered evidence of phone hacking at the News of the World, and – running parallel – the investigation into the unsolved murder of private investigator Daniel Morgan, led by former Met Police Detective Chief Superintendent Dave Cook. The album features the film’s original music composed by Zo Zhit (of the experimental hip hop group Dos Monos) who has made his feature scoring debut on the project. Music producer Rob Ellis (best known for his work with PJ Harvey) & Adrian Utley (of the electronic band Portishead) have teamed up to compose the original music for the upcoming British documentary Broken English. The film is directed by Jane Pollard & Iain Forsyth (20,000 Days on Earth, Neil Gaiman’s Likely Stories) and stars Tilda Swinton, George MacKay, Calvin Demba, Zawe Ashton and Sophia Di Martino. The movie is being described as a “portrait of the inimitable singer, songwriter and icon Marianne Faithfull.” Pollard & Forsyth also co-wrote the screenplay with Ian Martin. ‘Wednesday’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Details

The details of the full soundtrack album for the second season of the Netflix original series Wednesday have been revealed. The album features the content of the Season 2, Volume 1 EP (including a cover of Bad Moon Rising, the instrumental Zombie cover and the original song Nevermore Alma Mater), as well as four additional tracks from the second part of the season: Bella Poarch’s cover versions of Zombie (already out now as a digital single) & Don’t Fear the Reaper, an instrumental arrangement of the Blue Öyster Cult track, as well as an alternate Bad Moon Rising cover. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Wednesday, September 3 by Milan Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
