Lakeshore Records has released the fourth soundtrack album for the BBC natural history documentary series Parenthood. The album features the original music from Episode 5 (entitled Jungles) composed by Tom Howe (Ted Lasso, Dog Man, Knuckles, Early Man, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, Shrinking, Daisy Jones & the Six) and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first two tracks below. The label has previously released three albums featuring Howe’s score from the episodes The Greatest Adventure, Freshwater & Grasslands and will release one more soundtrack next month. Hollywood Records has released the full cover version of Cream’s Strange Brew (teased at the beginning of every episode) from the FX original series Alien: Earth. The track (originally written by Eric Clapton, Felix Pappalardi & Gail Collins) and performed by the show’s creator Noah Hawley and composer Jeff Russo (who also produced the cover) is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Claudia Sarne (Shining Girls, Triple 9, The Book of Eli, Earthquake Bird, Dispatches from Elsewhere, Broken City) has provided the original score for the upcoming National Geographic documentary Lost in the Jungle. The film is directed by Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi & Jimmy Chin (Free Solo, Nayad) and Juan Camilo Cruz (In Her Hands) and tells the true story of four young siblings who crash land deep within the Colombian rainforest, and the dramatic rescue mission that unfolds, uniting Indigenous trackers and the military in a race against time. Accidental Editions has released a soundtrack album for Sebastián Lelio’s musical drama The Wave (La Ola). The album features the original songs from the movie written by composer Matthew Herbert (Disobedience, Gloria Bell, A Fantastic Woman, The Wonder, The Responder, The Beast Must Die, Hot Milk, The Cave, Temple) in collaboration with several female Chilean musicians (including Ana Tijoux, Camila Moreno & Javiera Parra) and performed by the movie’s cast.
