Netflix Music will release a second soundtrack album for the streamer’s original film They Cloned Tyrone. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Desmond Murray and Pierre Charles (Inventing AnnaEast New York, Story Ave). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, August 18. The full details of the soundtrack album for the Netflix animated film The Monkey King have been revealed. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Toby Chu (Bao, FoundCovert Affairs, Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return, Henchmen, Unforgettable). Also included are the original songs from the animated feature written by Tony Award winners Toby Marlow & Lucy Moss (SIX). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 18 by Netflix Music and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Composer/saxophonist  Branford Marsalis is reuniting with director George C. Wolfe (Lackawanna Blues, Nights in Rodanthe) on the upcoming Netflix original film Rustin. The biographical drama stars Colman Domingo as activist Bayard Rustin who organized the 1963 March on Washington while being forced into the background because of his sexuality. Chris Rock, Glynn Turman, Aml Ameen, CCH Pounder, Gus Halper, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Michael Potts and Johnny Ramey are also starring in the movie, which is written by Julian Breece and Dustin Lance Black (Milk, Under the Banner of Heaven) based on a story by Breece.
