Pharell Williams has contributed the opening titles song for the show created by Paul Hunter & Aeysha Carr (Woke) and starring David Oyelowo, Simone Missick, Jahi Di’Allo Winston, Bokeem Woodbine, Evan Ellison, Jeremy Bobb, Julien Heron, Louis Cancelmi, Djilali Rez-Kallah, Thomas Beaudoin, Louis Ferreira, Kyle Mac, John Ortiz and Adam Beach. Brandon Roberts (Thanksgiving, Chaos Walking, Fear Street Part 2: 1978, Land of Bad, Underwater, Motherland: Fort Salem, On a Wing and a Prayer, The Twilight Zone) has joined Disney+’s original series Andor as the show’s new composer. He has scored most of the episodes of the Lucasfilm production’s second season. Season 1 composer Nicholas Britell who was unable to commit to the entire season due to a personal family matter has scored two episodes of the new season and is being credited for providing “additional themes” on the rest of the episodes. Season 2 of Andor created by Tony Gilroy and starring Diego Luna, Stellan Skarsgård, Genevieve O’Reilly, Denise Gough, Adria Arjona, Kyle Soller, Faye Marsay, Varada Sethu, Alan Tudyk, Elizabeth Dulau, Ben Mendelsohn & Forest Whitaker takes place as the horizon of war draws near and Cassian becomes a key player in the Rebel Alliance. Milan Records has released all three soundtrack album for the Adult Swim original anime series Lazarus. The show’s director Shinichirō Watanabe tasked three artists with composing distinct soundtracks for the project: jazz saxophonist Kamasi Washington (West Coast Get Down), producer, DJ & musician Floating Points (Floating Points Ensemble) and producer, DJ & musician Bonobo. The full details of the soundtrack album for the faith-based animated feature The King of Kings have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Tae Seong Kim (Space Sweepers, War of the Arrows, Chicken Nugget, Gyeongseong Creature). Also included is Kristin Chenoweth’s original end credits song Live Like That (previously released last week as a digital single), as well as another song performed by Junha Park.
