The soundtrack will be released digitally next month and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The full details of the soundtrack album for Paul Thomas Anderson’s Phantom Thread have been announced. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jonny Greenwood who previously collaborated with Anderson on There Will Be Blood, The Master and Inherent Vice. The composer recorded his score with the London Contemporary Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The movie is directed by Lasse Hallstrom (Chocolat, The Cider House Rules) and stars Keira Knighley, Mackenzie Foy, Misty Copeland, Morgan Freeman and Helen Mirren. The film is based on the classic ballet by Peter Tchaikovsky and the story by E.T.A.
