The show is written by Rory Haines & Sohrab Noshirvani, directed by Jonny Campbell (The Last Post, The Casual Vacancy) and stars Paddy Considine, Bel Powley, Nabhaan Rizwan, Jessica Raine, Sharon D. Clarke, Sunetra Sarker and Roger Jean Nsengiyumva. The World Soundtrack Academy has announced the first wave of nominees for the 2018 World Soundtrack Awards in the categories Film Composer of the Year, Best TV Composer and Best Original Song Written Directly for a Film. The winners will be announced at the World Soundtrack Awards & concert on Wednesday, October 17 at the Ghent International Film Festival. As previously reported, Philippe Sarde will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the event. Here are the nominations:

Four new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this week:
Expected to top the weekend box office is the shark thriller The Meg directed by Jon Turteltaub and starring Jason Statham, Li Bingbing, Rainn Wilson, Ruby Rose, Winston Chao, Page Kennedy, Robert Taylor and Sophia Shuya Cai. The film’s original music is composed by Harry Gregson-Williams (The Chronicles of Narnia, Shrek, The Martian, Kingdom of Heaven, Man on Fire). ‘Deadpool 2’ – Super Duper Cut Soundtrack Album Released

Columbia Records has released a soundtrack album for the Deadpool 2 Super Duper Cut, which includes 15 minutes of additional footage not included in the theatrical version of the film.
