Polydor Records will release a new soundtrack album for Emerald Fennell’s comedic thriller Saltburn. The album features the songs from the movie, including Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s Murder on the Dancefloor, Tomcraft’s Loneliness, Mason’s & Princess Superstar’s Perfect (Exceeder), Arcade Fire’s No Cars Go, Bloc Party’s This Modern Love, among other tracks. Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original documentary series Turning Point: The Bomb and the Cold War. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by John Dragonetti (The Internet’s Own Boy: The Story of Aaron Swartz, All About Nina, Scouts Honor: The Secret Files of the Boy Scouts of America, We Are Legion: The Story of the Hacktivists) who previously scored 2021’s Turning Point: 9/11 and the War on Terror. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 12 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. The film marks the feature directorial debut of actor Dev Patel and stars Patel himself, Sharlto Copley, Sobhita Dhulipala, Pitobash, Vipin Sharma, Ashwini Kalsekar, Adithi Kalkunte, Sikandar Kher and Makarand Deshpande. Decca Records has released the cover version of the hit song Time to Say Goodbye (Con te partirò) from the In Memoriam segment of last night’s 96th Academy Awards ceremony. The new version of the song (originally written by Francesco Sartori & Lucio Quarantotto) is produced and arranged by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Dune, Inception, Gladiator, The Dark Knight) and performed by Andrea Bocelli with Matteo Bocelli. Ludwig Göransson was honored with his second Academy Award for his score for Christopher Nolan’s drama Oppenheimer at tonight’s 96th Oscar ceremony. He previously won his first Oscar for his music from Marvel’s Black Panther in 2019 and was also nominated last year for the song Lift Me Up from its sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
