Hollywood Records has released the sixth song from the soundtrack for the FX original series The Drop: A Snowfall Saga. Available now to stream/download on all major digital music services is Sinful Obsession (in three different versions) co-written by the project’s executive music producer Larrance “Rance 1500” Dopson & Jason “Problem” Martin and performed by Denée Benton. Tyler Bates Scoring CBS’ ‘NCIS: New York’
Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, John Wick, Deadpool 2, 300, Atomic Blonde, X, Watchmen, Dawn of the Dead) has been tapped to score the new CBS drama NCIS: New York. The show stars LL COOL J who returns as legendary NCIS Agent Sam Hanna (from NCIS: Los Angeles), as well as Scott Caan, Jennifer Beals, Jacqueline Byers, Shane Harper and Devin Druid. The series follows Hanna as he returns to his hometown of New York City to their field office, partnering with a roguish agent and helping lead a new team as they are tasked with high-stakes missions.
‘Grin’ Soundtrack Album Details
Head Down First Music will release a soundtrack album for the British supernatural horror thriller Grin. The album features the film’s original score composed by Christoph Allerstorfer (The Jack in the Box, The Ghost Within, Voidance, Breaking Infinity) & James Griffiths (68 Kill, Lancaster Skies, Nefarious, Dogged, The Drift). David Shire’s ‘I Married a Monster’ and Unused ‘Deadfall’ Scores to Be Released
Caldera Records has announced the world premiere release of two scores composed by David Shire (The Conversation, The Taking of Pelham One Two Three, All the President’s Men, Zodiac, Return to Oz, Short Circuit). The album features the composer’s unused score from the 1993 crime drama Deadfall (ultimately scored by Jim Fox) co-written and directed by Christopher Coppola and starring Michael Biehn, Sarah Trigger, Nicolas Cage, James Coburn, Charlie Sheen, Talia Shire & Peter Fonda, as well as his music from the 1998 television movie I Married a Monster directed by Nancy Malone and starring Richard Burgi and Susan Walters.
