Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Ozark, Boy Erased, The Gift, Enemy, The Devil All the Time, The White Tiger, Martha Marcy May Marlene) have been tapped to score the upcoming Amazon original series Outer Range. The show is created by Brian Watkins and stars Josh Brolin, Imogen Poots, Lili Taylor, Tamara Podemski, Lewis Pullman, Tom Pelphrey, Noah Reid, Shaun Sipos, Isabel Arraiza, Olive Abercrombie and Will Patton. The drama revolves around a rancher fighting for his land and family, who discovers an unfathomable mystery at the edge of Wyoming’s wilderness. Watkins and Brolin are also executive producing the project with Zev Borow (Confess, Fletch), Heather Rae (Frozen River, Tallulah), Robin Sweet, Tony Krantz (Mulholland Drive, Felicity), Amy Seimetz (She Dies Tomorrow, The Girfriend Experience), Lawrence Trilling (Parenthood, Goliath), as well as Plan B Entertainment’s Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner & Brad Pitt (12 Years a Slave, Moonlight), Outer Range will premiere on April 15 exclusively on Prime Video.
The composers’ other recent projects include Charlie McDowell’s feature Windfall (premiering this Friday on Netflix), Netflix’s Ozark and AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead.
