This week, Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch (Rocks, Only You, Tiger Orange) is recording her score for the upcoming Dutch historical drama The Forgotten Battle (De Slag om de Schelde). The film is directed by Matthijs van Heijningen (The Thing) and stars Gijs Blom, Susan Radder, Jamie Flatters and Tom Felton. The movie centers on the bloody but crucial battle (known as the Battle of the Scheldet) that claimed ten thousand lives during World War II, but secured supply lines for the Allied forces’ push to liberate Europe from Nazi Germany. Paula van der Oest (The Bay of Silence, Black Butterflies) wrote the screenplay. Alain De Levita (The Resistance Banker, Ellis in Glamourland) is producing the Levitate Film production. The Forgotten Battle is set to be released theatrically in the Netherlands this December and will premiere on Netflix in other markets.
Levienaise-Farrouchn also has the British horror thriller Censor directed by Prano Bailey Bond and starring Niamh Algar coming up. A release in 2021 is expected
