La-La Land Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1990 horror movie Graveyard Shift directed by Ralph S. Singleton, written by John Esposito based on Stephen King’s short story and starring David Andrews, Stephen Macht, Kelly Wolf and Brad Dourif. The album features the film’s original score composed by Anthony Marinelli (15 Minutes, 2 Days in the Valley, Timecode) & Brian Banks (Young Guns, Internal Affairs). Also included are alternate bonus tracks, including the movie’s trailer music composed and performed by John Beal. The CD, which is limited to 1,000 copies, will be available to order on the label’s official website at noon today. Graveyard Shift is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD.
The label has also announced a new soundtrack album for the 1988 horror sequel Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood directed by John Carl Buechler and starring Lar Park Lincoln, Kevin Blair, Terry Kiser, Susan Blu and Kane Hodder featuring the film’s original score composed by Harry Manfredini (House, Wishmaster, Swamp Thing) & Fred Mollin (Fast Company, Screwballs II). The limited edition CD will also be available to order on La-La Land’s website later today. Waxwork Records has previously released a digital and vinyl edition of the composers’ complete score earlier this year.
