Mario Grigorov (Precious, The Paperboy, Shadowdancer) is scoring the upcoming British horror thriller Lair. The film is written and directed by Adam Ethan Crow and stars John Hannah, Corey Johnson, Oded Fehr, Katarina Cas, Julian Kostov, Alexandra Gilbreath and Jen Brister. The movie follows a fractured family forced to face their demons as they unwittingly become embroiled in a man’s attempt to prove the existence of the supernatural in order to overturn a friend’s murder conviction. Shelley Atkin is producing the Ditto Films production. Grigorov has previously scored Crow’s last feature, The Conversation. Lair is expected to premiere later this year.
Grigorov’s other recent projects include the Syfy original series Spides, which premiered on Syfy German this past March and will debut in the UK next month. The composer has also recently scored the British comedy Off the Rails directed by Jules Williamson and starring Kelly Preston, Jenny Seagrove, Sally Phillips, Ben Miller, Franco Nero and Elizabeth Dormer-Phillips. The movie, which follows three women who set out to repeat the inter-railing adventures of their youth, is also expected to premiere later in 2020.
