Isobel Waller-Bridge has composed the original music for the episode Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too from the new season of Netflix’s Black Mirror. The episode directed by Anne Sewitsky (Sonja: The White Swan, Happy, Happy), written by series creator Charlie Brooker and starring Miley Cyrus, Angourie Rice and Madison Davenport revolves around a lonely teenager who yearns to connect with her favorite pop star – whose charmed existence isn’t quite as rosy it appears. Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too will premiere as part of Black Mirror Season 5 on June 5 exclusively on Netflix.
Waller-Bridge (Vanity Fair, The Split, The ABC Murders) has recently also scored the second season of Amazon’s Fleabag, which just premiered in the U.S. on Amazon Prime last week. She has also composed the score for the Gemma Arterton-starring biographical drama Vita and Virginia, which premiered at last year’s Toronto Film Festival and will be released in British theaters on July 5.
