Oli Julian (Catastrophe, Cuckoo, Plebs) has composed the original score for the first season of the new Netflix original series Sex Education. The show also features original songs by singer/songwriter Ezra Furman. The comedy drama is created by Laurie Nunn and stars Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, Ncuti Gatwa, Connor Swindells and Kedar Williams-Stirling. The series centers on a socially awkward high school virgin who lives with his sex therapist mother and teams up with a rebel girl to form a school sex-therapy clinic. Jamie Campbell & Joel Wilson (The Enfield Haunting, Glue) are executive producing the Eleven Film production. Sex Education is premiering today exclusively on Netflix.

Watching first episode of Sex Education (great show so far) and I and digging the soundtrack, and I say to myself… I’ve heard this singer before. Google… first hit, perfect blog, exactly what I needed. Thank you. Same guy that had Resless Year used for the Hooten & the Lady TV theme. Digging it.
