Varese Sarabande has announced the latest titles in its CD Club series, including a deluxe edition soundtrack for the 1979 horror movie Dracula directed by John Badham and starring Frank Langella, Laurence Olivier, Donald Pleasence and Kate Nelligan. The album features the expanded original score from the film composed and conducted by John Williams (Star Wars, Jaws, Raider of the Lost Ark, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Schindler’s List), including over half an hour of previously unreleased music, as well as a newly-mastered presentation of the originally soundtrack album. The label has also announced a deluxe edition soundtrack for the 1994 action thriller On Deadly Ground directed by Steven Seagal, who also stars in the movie alongside Michael Caine, Joan Chen, John C. McGinley and R. Lee Ermey. The album features expanded score from the Warner Bros. Pictures release composed and conducted by Basil Poledouris (Robocop, Starship Troopers, Conan the Barbarian, For the Love of the Game), including almost 50 minutes of previously unreleased music. Varese Sarabande has also announced a reissue of the soundtrack for the 1988 political thriller A Show of Force directed by Bruno Barreto and starring Amy Irving, Robert Duvall.
