Lightyear Entertainment has released a soundtrack album for the Australian drama Tanna. The album features the film’s original music composed by Antony Partos (Animal Kingdom, The Rover, 99 Homes). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Tanna is directed by Martin Butler & Bentley Dean and stars Marie Wawa, Mungau Dain, Marceline Rofit and Chief Charlie Kahla. The movie, which is one of the five nominees in the Foreign Language Film category at this year’s Academy Awards, tells the story of two young lovers who dared to defy the Vanuatu islanders tradition of arranged marriage and changed the island’s culture as a result. The drama was released in select U.S. theaters this past September and is now available on VOD. A DVD and Blu-ray release is scheduled for next month. Visit the official movie website for more information.
