Premiering tomorrow, October 12, is the CW original series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend created by Rachel Bloom & Aline Brosh McKenna and starring Bloom herself, as well as Santino Fontana, Donna Lynne Champlin, Vincent Rodriguez III, Pete Gardner and Vella Lovell. Bloom is also co-writing the show’s original songs with Jack Dolgen and Jerome Kurtenbach. The musical comedy drama follows a single woman and her elusive pursuit of her longtime soul mate who dumped her while they were dating in high school ten years ago. Premiering on Tuesday, October 13, is the second season of the WGN America original series Manhattan created by Sam Shaw and starring John Benjamin Hickey, Olivia Williams, William Petersen, Ashley Zukerman, Christopher Denham, Rachel Brosnahan, Harry Lloyd, Mamie Gummer, Katja Herbers, Michael Chernus, Harry Lloyd and Griffin Dunne. Jeff Russo (Fargo, Power, CSI: Cyber) and Zoe Keating (The Returned) are scoring the series and have taken over the job from Jónsi & Alex Somers who scored last year’s first season. Premiering on Friday, October 16 is the NBC comedy Truth Be Told created by DJ Nash and starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tone Bell, Bresha Webb and Vanessa Lachey.
