This Saturday, BMI will present its annual roundtable chat as part of the Don’t Knock The Rock music documentary festival. Participants include director James Ponsoldt (The Spectacular Now, Smashed), Allison Anders (Grace In My Heart, Sugartown), music supervisors Tiffany Andrews (Like Crazy, Smashed) and Danny Bramson (Almost Famous, Jerry Maguire), composer Miriam Cutler (American Promise, King’s Point), BMI Film/TV Department Vice President Doreen Ringer Ross and director Denny Tedesco (The Wrecking Crew). The panelists will discuss the changing landscape for music rights and new media. The event will be moderated by Michael Des Barres and will take place on August 2 at 1:00pm at the Cinefamily movie theater on 611 N Fairfax Ave in Los Angeles.
