Ellie Goulding has announced that she has recorded the original song Beating Heart for the film adaptation of the young adult novel Divergent. She also announced on ABC’s Good Morning America today that she will be the “musical voice” of Shailene Woodley’s character Tris and that her voice will be featured on the instrumental score. Junkie XL is the composer on the film and Hans Zimmer serves as the executive score producer. Check back on this page for more information about the soundtrack and score. Divergent is directed by Neil Burger and stars Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Kate Winslet, Miles Teller, Aaron Eckhart, Zoe Kravitz, Ray Stevenson, Jai Courtney, Ansel Elgort, Ashley Judd and Maggie Q.
