Trevor Morris has signed on to score the upcoming NBC drama Dracula. The show is created by Daniel Knauf (Carnivàle) and stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Jessica De Gouw, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Katie McGrath, Thomas Kretschmann and Nonso Anozie. The series is set in 1890s London and follows Dracula as he arrives in Town posing as an American entrepreneur who maintains that he wants to bring modern science to Victorian society, but hopes to wreak revenge on the people who ruined his life centuries earlier. Knauf is also executive producing the NBC Universal Television production with Tony Krantz (24, Sports Night), Colin Callender and Gareth Neame (Downton Abbey). Steve Shill (Obsessed) who previously helmed numerous episodes of the Rhys Meyers-starring and Morris-scored The Tudors directed the pilot episode. Dracula is set to premiere on October 25, 2013 and will air every Friday night on NBC. For updates on the series, visit the official show website.
