Already playing in theaters nationwide since this past Wednesday is the South Korean sci-fi/action thriller Hope written and directed by Na Hong-jin and starring Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung, Hoyeon, Alicia Vikander, Michael Fassbender, Taylor Russell and Cameron Britton. The film’s original music is composed by Michael Abels (Get OutUs, Star Wars: The Acolyte, Nope, The Burial, SirensLandscape with Invisible Hand, The ‘Burbs, See You Yesterday). Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score on Wednesday. Also opening nationwide is the concert documentary Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger directed by Dylan Southern & Will Lovelace, created by Steven Knight and produced by Guy Bridger & Guy Heeley for Magna Studios and Sony Music Vision. Zebedee C. Budworth (The Thing with Feathers, Meet Me in the Bathrooom) has composed the film’s original score. No word on a soundtrack album. The movie, which charts Liam and Noel Gallagher’s triumphant reunion tour, Oasis Live ‘25, one of the most anticipated rock ‘n’ roll comebacks of our time, premiered last weekend at the 2026 Venice Film Festival and is being released in IMAX and other theaters before making its streaming debut on Hulu and Disney+ later this year.

Opening in select theaters this weekend is the horror thriller Don’t Move co-written and directed by Maclaine Nelson and starring Lyndsy Fonseca, Russell “Russ” Vitale, Hunter King, Tom Cavanagh, Joseph Lee Anderson and Rob Riggle. The film’s original music composed by Nima Fakhrara (LouBecky, The Signal, Detroit: Become Human, The Girl in the Photographs, The PyramidAlone). No soundtrack album has been announced yet. Opening in Los Angeles this weekend before expanding to more markets in the coming weeks is the indie drama If I Go Will They Miss Me written and directed by Walter Thompson-Hernández and starring Danielle Brooks and J. Alphonse Nicholson. Malcolm Parson (Little Woods) has composed the film’s original music. Jon Batiste has contributed a cover of Dinah Washington’s This Bitter Earth to the project. No soundtrack album has been released yet. The movie, which follows a 12-year-old boy who struggles to connect with his father when he begins to see surreal, almost spectral visions of boys drifting around his neighborhood, premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and is being distributed by Rich Spirit.
