Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the German Netflix original film 23 000 Lives (23 000 Leben). The album features the movie’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Volker Bertelmann (All Quiet on the Western Front, Conclave, Lion, Adrift, Pressure, Dune: Prophecy, The Day of the Jackal, The Amateur, A House of Dynamite, One Life). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. 23 000 Lives is directed by Markus Goller and stars Louis Hofmann, Mala Emde, Katharina Stark, Maria Dragus, Frederick Lau, Kathy Etoa, Trevor Magaya, Luisa-Céline Gaffron, Saibon Wang and Eleonora Romandini. The drama tells the true story of a group of young people who set sail for the Mediterranean to save the lives of refugees — a mission that puts their ideas of law and justice to the test. The film was released in select German theaters earlier this month and is premiering worldwide today on Netflix.
