Lakeshore Records will release the official soundtrack album for the murder mystery comedy The Sheep Detectives. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christophe Beck (Frozen, Ant-Man, Edge of Tomorrow, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, WandaVision, Free Guy, The Muppets, The Hangover, The Pink Panther). The Sheep Detectives is directed by Kyle Balda and stars Hugh Jackman, Nicholas Galitzine, Molly Gordon, Nicholas Braun, Hong Chau and Emma Thompson, as well as voice cast members Bryan Cranston, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Regina Hall, Chris O’Dowd, Brett Goldstein, Patrick Stewart,Bella Ramsey and Rhys Darby. The movie based on Leonie Swann’s novel Three Bags Full tells the story of a shepherd who reads detective novels to his sheep every night, assuming they can’t possibly understand, but when a mysterious incident occurs, the sheep realize they must become the detectives. The comedy is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Amazon MGM Studios.
