Premiering tomorrow, May 4, is the British limited series Lord of the Flies developed by Jack Thorne based on William Golding’s classic novel of the same title, directed by Marc Munden and starring Winston Sawyers, Lox Pratt,  David McKenna, Ike Talbut, Noah & Cassius Flemyng, Cornelius Brandreth, Thomas Connor and Tom Page-Turner. The show’s original score is composed by Cristobal Tapia de Veer (The White LotusSmileBabygirl, Utopia,The Girl with All the GiftsThe Third Day, National Treasure). Hans Zimmer (The Dark KnightGladiator, The Lion King Inception, Dune) & Kara Talve (The Tattooist of AuschwitzPrehistoric Planet) have provided the main theme and additional music. Premiering on Wednesday, May 6, is the second season of the Prime Video original series Citadel created by Josh Appelbaum, Bryan Oh & David Weil and starring Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Stanley Tucci, Lesley Manville, Ashleigh Cummings, Jack Reynor, Lina El Arabi, Matt Berry, Merle Dandridge, Gabriel Leone and Rayna Vallandingham. Jeff Russo (FargoAlien: Earth, Ripley, Star Trek: Discovery & PicardLegion, The Night Of, Zero Day, Untamed, The Man Who Feel to Earth) has composed the new season’s original music. Also premiering in the U.S. on Wednesday is the British TV series The Other Bennet Sister developed by Sarah Quintrell based on Janice Hadlo ‘snovel of the same title and starring Ella Bruccoleri, Ruth Jones, Richard E. Grant, Indira Varma, Richard Coyle, Tanya Reynolds, Maddie Close, Dónal Finn,Molly Wright, Varada Sethu, Laurie Davidson, Poppy Gilbert and Grace Hogg-Robinson. The show’s original music is composed by Anne Chmelewsky (Where Hands TouchTo Cook a Bear, The Shepherd, Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities). Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past March following the drama’s UK premiere on BBC One and is expected to release the album worldwide this month. Premiering on Thursday, May 7, is the Peacock original series M.I.A. created by Bill Dubuque and starring Shannon Gisela, Cary Elwes, Danay Garcia, Dylan Jackson, Brittany Adebumola, Maurice Compte, Alberto Guerra, Gerardo Celasco and Marta Milans. Bear McCreary (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of PowerThe Walking Dead, Godzilla: King of the Monsters10 Cloverfield LaneBattlestar GalacticaOutlander) and his Sparks & Shadows team have composed the show’s original music. The crime drama, which follows a woman who dreams of a life in Miami’s glittering, sub-tropical kingdom andembarks on a dangerous journey through the city’s neon-lit underbelly when her family’s drug-running business shatters in tragedy, will be available to stream exclusively on Peacock.

Also premiering on Thursday is the British Netflix original series Legends created by Neil Forsyth and starring Tom Burke, Steve Coogan, Aml Ameen, Hayley Squires, Tom Hughes, Jasmine Blackborow, Alex Jennings, Douglas Hodge, Johnny Harris and Con O’Neill. The show’s original music is composed by Sion Trefor (Say Nothing, Toxic Town, How to Get to Heaven from Belfast, Waiting for the Out, Death Valley). Premiering in the U.S. on Friday, March 8, is the British limited series Amadeus created by Joe Barton based on Peter Shaffer’s stage play and starring Will Sharpe, Paul Bettany, Gabrielle Creevy, Jessica Alexander, Jonathan Aris, Olivia-Mai Barrett and Rory Kinnear. Bryce Dessner (Train Dreams, Love Story: John F. Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonio Salieri, newly recorded with the Hungarian Studio Orchestra (and Choir), last December when the drama premiered in the UK on Sky and NOW.
