Musichub has released a soundtrack album for the German/Turkish political drama Yellow Letters (Gelbe Briefe). The album features the film’s original music composed by Marvin Miller (The Teachers’ Lounge, Balloon, Jim Button and the Wild 13, I Was, I Am, I Will Be, Inside Greenpeace). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s “ouverture” and “postlude” tracks after the jump. Yellow Letters is co-written and directed by İlker Çatak and stars Özgü Namal, Tansu Biçer, Leyla Smyrna Cabas and İpek Bilgin. The movie tells the story of a celebrated artist couple from Ankara who lead a fulfilling life with their 13-year-old daughter, until an incident at the premiere of their new play changes everything and they find themselves targeted by the state and lose their jobs and home. The drama premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival and opened in German theater last month. No word yet on a domestic release.
