Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the PBS Masterpiece series Maigret. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Uèle Lamore (The Balconettes, The Apology, Above Water). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, October 24 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The composer’s closing titles track is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. Maigret is developed by Patrick Harbinson based on the bestselling novels by Georges Simenon and stars Benjamin Wainwright, Stefanie Martini, Blake Harrison, Kerrie Hayes, Shaniqua Okwok, Reda Elazouar, Rob Kazinsky and Nathalie Armin. The crime drama follows the titular Chief Inspector who – together with his team of maverick but loyal detectives – must outwit some of Paris’s most cunning and violent criminals, while dealing with his own troubled past. The series premiered earlier this month and currently airs in the U.S. every Sunday night on PBS.
