Federico Jusid (The English, The Secret in Their Eyes, Watership Down, The Penguin Lessons, A Gentleman in Moscow, The Eternaut, Misconduct, The Head, Life Itself) has been tapped to score the upcoming MGM+ original series Robin Hood. The show is created by John Glenn (SEAL Team, Hatfields & McCoys) & Jonathan English (Ironclad, A Good Woman) and stars Jack Patten, Lauren McQueen, Sean Bean, Lydia Peckham, Connie Nielsen, Steve Waddington, Marcus Fraser, Angus Castle-Doughty, Richard Lintern, Erica Ford, Ian Pirie and Henry Rowley. The 10-part adventure drama follows the tumultuous journey of a Saxon forester’s son turned legendary outlaw as he navigates the corridors of power and leads a daring fight for justice and freedom. Glenn & English are also executive producing the Lionsgate Television production with Hidden Pictures’ Todd Lieberman (Beauty and the Beast, Wonder). Robin Hood will premiere on November 2 exclusively on MGM+.
Jusid is also expected to return to score the second season of the Disney+/Hulu series A Thousand Blows.
