Premiering on Tuesday, September 23 is the FX original series The Lowdown created by Sterlin Harjo and starring Ethan Hawke, Keith David, Kyle MacLachlan, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Kaniehtiio Horn, Tim Blake Nelson, Michael “Killer Mike” Render and Tracy Letts. The show’s original music is composed by singer/songwriter and guitarist JD McPherson who has made his scoring debut on the project. The neo-noir crime drama, which revolves around a self-proclaimed Tulsa “truthstorian” whose obsession with the truth is always getting him into trouble, will air every Tuesday night on FX and will also be available to stream on Hulu.

Premiering on Wednesday, September 24, is the Prime Video original series Hotel Costiera created by Elena Bucaccio & Francesco Arlanch and starring Jesse Williams, Maria Chiara Giannetta, Jordan Alexandra, Antonio Gerardi, Sam Haygarth, Tommaso Ragno, Amanda Campana, Pierpaolo Spollon, Alejandra Onieva and Jean-Hugues Anglade. Anton Sanko (The PossessionRabbit Hole, Ouija, Big LoveThe Silent Hour, Fractured, The Half of It) has composed the show’s original music. Also premiering in the U.S. on Wednesday is the Canadian TV series Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent developed by Tassie Cameron based on Dick Wolf’s Law & Order American format and starring Aden Young, Kathleen Munroe, K.C. Collins and Karen Robinson. The show’s original music is composed by Clinton Shorter (District 9, The Expanse2 GunsPompeii,  Contraband, The Rainmaker, Copshop, Code Black, Boss LevelColony). The drama, which follows a detective duo at the Specialized Criminal Investigations Unit as they investigate high-profile homicides in Canada’s largest metropolis, premiered in Canada last year on CityTV and is making its U.S. debut on The CW.

Premiering on Thursday, September 25 is the British Netflix original series House of Guinness created by Steven Knight and starring Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge, Emily Fairn, Fionn O’Shea, Jack Gleeson, Niamh McCormack, Michael McElhatton, Danielle Galligan, Ann Skelly and Seamus O’Hara. Ilan Eshkeri (StardustLayer Cake, Still Alice,The Young Victoria, Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story, Hannibal Rising, MobLand, Kick-Ass) has composed the show’s original music. Also premiering on Thursday is the Canadian Netflix limited series Wayward created by Mae Martin and starring Martin herself, Toni Collette, Sarah Gadon, Sydney Topliffe, Alyvia Alyn Lind and Brandon Jay McLaren. The show’s original music is composed by Marie-Hélène L. Delorme (Sugar Daddy, The Mother and the Bear). The 8-parter, which follows a small-town cop who suspects that the local school for troubled teens and its dangerously charismatic founder may not be all it seems, will also be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.

Premiering on Friday is the Apple TV+ limited series The Savant created by Melissa James Gibson and starring Jessica Chastain, Nnamdi Asomugha, Jordana Spiro, Toussaint Francois Battiste, Cole Doman, Trinity Lee Shirley and Pablo Schreiber. Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (OzarkThe Outsider, Speak No Evil, The GiftEnemyThe StaircaseBoy ErasedThe White Tiger, Presumed Innocent, Smoke) have composed the show’s original music. The faith-based romantic drama, which also features original songs performed by Serayaah, will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
