B Original has released a soundtrack album for the 2017 French limited series La Mante created by Alice Chegaray-Breugnot, Grégoire Demaison & Nicolas Jean, directed by Alexandre Laurent and starring Carole Bouquet, Fred Testot, Pascal Demolon, Frédérique Bel, Manon Azem, Élodie Navarre and Jacques Weber. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by François Liétout (The Bonfire of Destiny, Women at War, Mademoiselle Holmes, Elise’s Secret). La Mante follows a serial killer decades after her capture as she offers to help solve a string of copycat murder, but only if her son, now a cop, will work by her side. The 6-part thriller premiered in France in September of 2017 on TF1 and made its debut in the U.S. and other international markets later that year on Netflix.
