Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the drama The Last Showgirl. The album features the film’s original score composed by Andrew Wyatt (Barbie). Also included is the original song Beautiful That Way co-written (with Wyatt & Lykke Li) and performed by Miley Cyrus (listen to the track below). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 20. The Last Showgirl is directed by Gia Coppola, written by Kate Gersten and stars Pamela Anderson, Billie Lourd, Kiernan Shipka, Brenda Song, Dave Bautista and Jamie Lee Curtis. The movie revolves around a glamorous showgirl who must plan for her future when her show abruptly closes after a 30-year run and strives to repair a strained relationship with her estranged daughter. The drama, which premiered at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, just received an awards-qualifying theatrical release in Los Angeles this past week and will be released in theaters nationwide on January 10 by Roadside Attractions.
