Hippocampus has released a soundtrack album for the first French Max limited series The Confidante (Une amie dévouée). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (RevengeManiac, Gretel & Hansel, Other People’s Children, Never Let Go, Horns, Amityville: The AwakeningTroy: Fall of a City). The Confidante is directed by Just Philippot , written by Fanny Burdino, Jean-Baptiste Delafon, Samuel Doux & Alexandre Kauffmann based on Kauffmann’s book La Mythomane du Bataclan and stars Laure Calamy, Arieh Worthalter, Annabelle Lengronne, Alexis Manenti, Ava Baya and Anne Benoît. The 4-part psychological thriller follows a rock music-obsessed Parisian who – after witnessing the harrowing November 13, 2015 terrorist attacks – quickly latches onto a community of survivors. The series premiered last month and is now available to stream on Max.
