Rapper, music producer and multi-instrumentalist Terrace Martin is making his feature scoring debut on the upcoming animated movie Sneaks. The film is directed by Rob Edwards (screenwriter of The Princess and the Frog & Treasure Planet) and features the voices of Anthony Mackie, Martin Lawrence, Laurence Fishburne, Chloe Bailey, Mustard, Macy Gray, Roddy Ricch, Ella Mai,Swae Lee, Quavo and Chris Paul. The animated comedy follows a pair of one-of-a-kind, collector sneakers who get stolen by ‘the Collector’ and – in their attempt to escape – get separated in the middle of New York City. Fishburne and Helen Sugland (Black-ish, Grown-ish) are producing the project for Cinema Gypsy Productions, alongside Len Hartman and Gil Cloyd for Lengi Studios. Mustard is also involved in the movie’s soundtrack. Martin has previously co-scored the first season of Peacock’s Bel-Air (with Robert Glasper). Sneaks is set to be released in theaters nationwide on April 18, 2025 by Briarcliff Entertainment. (Deadline)
