Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for the Peacock limited series Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Scott Bomar (Dolemite Is My Name, Black Snake Moan, Hustle & Flow, Mississippi Grind, Here Comes Rusty). The label has previously released Bomar’s main title theme as a digital single last month. Fight Night is created by Shaye Ogbonna and stars Kevin Hart, Samuel L. Jackson, Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson and Don Cheadle. The 8-parter tells the infamous story of how an armed robbery at Muhammad Ali’s after-party after his 1970 comeback fight changed not only one man’s life but ultimately transformed Atlanta into the “Black Mecca.” The series premiered this past September & October and is now available to stream on Peacock and to purchase on VOD.
