Netflix Music has released the original song The Knowing from the Netflix original film Rustin. The track co-written (with the film’s composer Branford Marsalis and Lolis Elie) and performed by Ledisi is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the song below. A full soundtrack album featuring Marsalis’ original score from the movie will be coming out next month and a second original song, Road to Freedom by Lenny Kravitz, is also expected to be released soon. Rustin is directed by George C. Wolfe and stars Colman Domingo as activist Bayard Rustin, alongside Glynn Turman, Chris Rock, Aml Ameen, Gus Halper, CCH Pounder and Da’Vine Joy Randolph. The biographical drama will be released in select theaters on November 3 before premiering on November 17 on Netflix.
