Karl Sölve Steven (Come to Daddy, The Justice of Bunny King, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a #@%!, The Girl on the Bridge, Black Hands) has released a soundtrack album for the New Zealand comedy drama Uproar. The album features the composer’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download on Apple Music/iTunes and most other major digital music platforms. Uproar is directed by Paul Middleditch & Hamish Bennett and stars Julian Dennison, Rhys Darby, James Rolleston, Erana James and Minnie Driver. The movie is set in 1981, when the arrival of the South African rugby team sets off nationwide protests against apartheid and racism, and revolves around a 17 year-old teenager of mixed race who is forced to stand up for himself, his family and his future. The dramedy, which premiered at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, has just been released in New Zealand theaters earlier this month and is expected to be distributed in the U.S. by Blue Fox Entertainment.
