Niall Byrne (In Darkness, Hatton Garden, The Murders at White House Farm, Manhunt) is the composer of the upcoming BBC drama The Reckoning. The show is written by Neil McKay (Dream Horse, Four Lives) and stars Steve Coogan, Gemma Jones, Siobhan Finneran, Mark Lewis Jones and Mark Stanley. The 4-part series traces the life of Jimmy Savile, a man who became one of the UK’s most influential celebrities, but in death has become one of the most reviled figures of modern history following revelations of extensive abuse. McKay is also executive the project, alongside Jeff Pope (Philomena, The Lost King) for ITV Studios, as well as Lucy Richer (Top of the Lake, Roadkill) for the BBC. The Reckoning will premiere in the UK this fall on BBC One.
