Invada Recordes will release a soundtrack album for the British satirical thriller Bad Apples. The album features the film’s original score composed by Chris Roe (Blue Jean, The Salt Path, After Love, Trigger Point, Payback, The Lady, Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue, Wolf, Lancaster). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 18. The streaming/download link will be added to this page soon. Bad Apples is directed by Jonatan Etzler, written by Jess O’Kane and stars Saoirse Ronan, Eddie Waller, Sean Gilder, Nia Brown, Kerry Howard, Jacob Anderson, Robert Emms and Rakie Ayola. The movie is loosely based on Rasmus Andersson’s debut novel De Oönskare and follows a primary school teacher who accidentally locks her most disruptive student in her home and – desperate to undo it – hesitates when her class begins to flourish in the child’s absence, landing her in an impossible predicament.The thriller premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival and is being released in UK theaters in select U.S. theaters this weekend by Paramount/Republic Pictures.
