Music Box Records has released a digital single featuring the songs from the documentary Orwell: 2 + 2 = 5. The 2-track single includes Goutte de miel & What Do You Prefer? written by the film’s composer Alexei Aigui (The Truth, I Am Not Your Negro, Wild Field, The Young Karl Marx, Exterminate All the Brutes) and performed by Mina Agossi and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to both songs after the jump. Lakeshore Records has previously released a full album featuring Agui’s score from the movie. Music Box Records has also announced announced a limited CD version featuring both score and songs, as well as the composer’s recent scores for Pascal Bonitzer’s Maigret and the Dead Lover & Hugo (Victor comme tout le monde) (visit the label’s official website for more details). Orwell: 2 + 2 = 5 directed by Raoul Peck was released in U.S. theaters last October by Neon following a premiere at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival and is now available on VOD and DVD.
