Capitol Records will release a soundtrack album for the documentary Paul McCartney: Man on the Run. The album features many of the key recordings from the film, including deep cuts and fan favorites from McCartney’s post-Beatles career, as well as the previously unreleased tracks Live and Let Die (Rockshow), Gotta Sing Gotta Dance and Arrow Through Me (Rough Mix). The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on February 27. Visit Amazon to pre-order the digital & CD version and vinyl edition. Paul McCartney: Man on the Run is directed by Morgan Neville and chronicles the legendary singer/songwriter’s journey after The Beatles, as he and wife Linda form Wings. The movie explores McCartney’s reinvention through rare archival footage, capturing both the struggles and triumphs of redefining himself in a new musical era. The documentary, which premiered at last year’s Telluride Film Festival, will be released in select theaters tomorrow by Amazon MGM Studios before making its streaming debut next Friday, February 27 on Prime Video.
