The full details of the soundtrack album for the historical musical drama The Testament of Ann Lee have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score and songs composed by Academy Award winner Daniel Blumberg (The Brutalist, The World to Come). The soundtrack will be released on January 16, 2026 by Milan Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (the original song Clothed by the Sun) has previously been released as a digital single earlier this month and a second track (Hunger & Thirst performed by Blumberg and lead actress Amanda Seyfried) is coming out today and can be checked out after the jump. The Testament of Ann Lee is co-written and directed by Mona Fastvold and stars Seyfried, Thomasin Mckenzie, Lewis Pullman, Tim Blake Nelson, Christopher Abbott, Stacy Martin, Matthew Beard, Scott Handy, Viola Prettejohn, Jamie Bogyo and David Cale. The movie centers on Ann Lee, founder of the devotional sect known as the Shakers who preached gender and social equality and was revered by her followers in the 18th century. The drama premiered at this year’s Venice Festival and will be released in select U.S. theaters on December 25 by Searchlight Pictures.
