Isabella Summers (aka Isa Machine of Florence + the Machine) (Little Fires Everywhere, Lady Chatterley’s Lover, Lisa Frankenstein, KAOS, Physical, The Offer, Hitpig!) has composed the original music for the upcoming horror thriller Dust Bunny. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Bryan Fuller (Hannibal, Pushing Daisies) and stars David Dastmalchian, Mads Mikkelsen and Sigourney Weaver. The movie revolves around a 10-year-old girl who procures the services of a hit man to kill the monster under her bed that she believes ate her family. Fuller also wrote the screenplay and is also producing the project with Thunder Road Pictures’ Basil Iwanyk & Erica Lee (John Wick, Sicario). Dust Bunny will premiere this September at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Summers’ recent feature projects also include Iain Morris’ My Oxford Year, which will premiere this Friday, August 1. She also has Ben Gregor’s fantasy adventure The Magic Faraway Tree and Megan Nicole Dong’s animated move Bad Fairies coming up.
